Welcome to 2011 and to Pierre’s latest adventures!

After his trip around the world (story still here) Pierre has been taking things quietly with all the other bears at Silchester School.  That has now ended and Pierre has winged his way across the Atlantic again and is headed into the     impressive grandeur of Utah’s wild west scenery and on to the northern wilds of Alaska.

Pierre’s adventure started at Heathrow airport where he jumped onboard a Boeing 777 flight to Washington DC.  From there it was still a further four hour flight to Salt Lake City in the state of Utah on an Airbus A319 - a very bumpy four hours due to severe storms across a large part of the United States.

So that you can all see where Pierre has been there is a quick album of his pictures in the Utah and Colorado scenery, together with his visit to Four Corners - the only place where four states come together at a single point.  His story needs a bit more time to write up properly so look in again!

Pierre stopped in Boise, Idaho on his way to Seattle in Washington state where he caught the ferry to Alaska for lots more adventures!

Click here for some pictures of Pierre in Alaska! (The last four are in Powell River, British Columbia in Canada.)

Back in the UK for only a few weeks before heading to yet another adventure, Pierre has now flown from Southampton to the Isles of Scilly where it has been very windy, out in the Atlantic Ocean.
